Visualize your workflow, improve value delivery
Do you like pizza? Are you interested in Kanban? Do you want to focus more on delivering value quickly and effectively If so, there's no excuse for skipping this game!

In the Kanban Pizza Game, you will experience firsthand the benefits of a Kanban System, by simulating the frantic pace of ordering pizza. The Kanban Pizza Game demonstrates the path from an existing process to a Kanban System and starts right where you are unlike other Kanban games that usually focus only on the flow of an existing Kanban System.

You will learn to use the five basic practices of Kanban which are, visualize the workflow, limit Work-In-Progress, manage flow, make process policies explicit & minimize waste, and keep up with customer demand and at the end understand how Kanban and its evolutionary approach to change can be applied to software development. The game is fun, the activity level stays high and it offers a complex simulation that includes changes in flow, while the difficulty progresses.

Whether you are a novice seeking to learn Kanban in a memorable way or a seasoned practitioner looking for a great simulation to teach Kanban to others, this is the session for you.

Product Decision making through Constellations
Ever wondered how to bring some life into decision making on product direction and feature choices to customers/consumers if you don’t have access to the customers to ask them? How often has Product Owners or organisations to that matter, delivered what they deem as value to customers and it’s not turned out to be what the customers want. Sad to say but some 'acclaimed' Agile teams/organisations continue to face this because;
a. They choose not to engage their customers early enough
b. Release cadence is too long thereby increasing the feedback loop.
c. Feedback loop not in place to encourage customers to feedback through the Product Owner or other open channels.
d. Product Owner is inexperienced and don’t have the know-how or embody the values and principle of agility by engaging the customer or satisfying what the customer wants rather than what they want to release.

By the end of this workshop you will have learnt: • Why constellate the direction of your product? • What constellations is and how to use it • How to set-up for a constellation • How to use constellation to get a sense of what to build first - priorities

Agile Beyond Software Teams
Its been over 30 years since the software industry caught the Agile bug. While there is still room for improvement, Agile has proven to be very successful in helping software organizations deliver products faster, reduce complexity, lower cost and deliver higher quality to its customers. As technology, market, and environmental complexities and their interactions have rapidly increased, it has become imperative to adopt an agile mindset if organizations desire to increase their market share and stay relevant. Agile has proven to be successful in many industries beyond Software, however, many non-tech teams still struggle with applying the agile way of working due to limited case studies and success stories on implementation.

In this workshop, participants will not only gain new knowledge by learning how non software teams ranging from business operations, HR, Marketing, Recruiting Call centers just to name a few have successfully transformed their work processes from waterfall to agile but they will also get hands on experience on how to kick start an agile team in their workplace and gain the tools needed for continuous success.

The Power of Habits
Human beings are creatures of habit. However, embracing new habits and making them stick are not as trivial as they may first sound. It takes discipline and courage to adopt new practices instead of old ones and turn them into a routine of behavior which is repeated regularly. Yet how can we achieve that? And how can we break some previous learnt habits which persist in organizations for years?

Join us in this interactive hands-on session and explore a simple yet powerful tool which you can bring back to your workplace and serve your colleagues and you well.
